Overall I like it. One of the reason I went with it was because of this zipper and slot to secure the phone. After 4 or 5 longer runs, the zipper is done. So I guess if the zipper is your deciding factor, there you go.Aún no he salido a correr con el , pero no tengo dudas que me va ayudar mucho en mis entrenamientos de fondo, habitualmente soy talla M en mis camisas, no tenía duda que M sería mí talla con está mochila. Soy una persona delgada pero mido 1' metro 77" centímetros.. si Eres delgado y bajito de estatura te recomiendo S , y si tienes dudas porque no eres tan delgado pues la talla M no tienen problema porque se pueden ajustar .. igual pasa con tallas más grandes..The design and size of the Salomon Active Skin 8 fit the need for my 50k race and shorter distances. The two included flasks were great. Bought a medium and the fit was perfect, I'm 5'10' and 165 lbs. The only issue that I had is with the durability of the zippers. The large storage zipper broke at a 50k race with less than a month of usage. Was able to replace it through the vendor. Received the new vest in March and the zipper front pocket has ripped in June. As much as I love this vest, I'll have to look elsewhere for a different option. Don't want to risk the larger zipper breaking during my next race.I like that this hugs my chest so well that it moves with me. The pockets also keep everything fixed in place. I was a bit surprised by the elastic strap across chest since it seems so thin and requires a little finesse to hook up, but I am getting used to it and no issues. I am pleased to see a way to insert a camelback-type water bladder, but have not tried it yet. The included sippy water pouches have been sufficient for short runs and pretty convenient on the front of both chest straps. I will probably add a bunch of reflective tape since I sometimes run at night.Absolutely love this thing and the freedom it gives me to run where I want without pre-planning a route and setting out water. It even works with just one water bottle, though I use my phone in the other pocket to even the weight distribution a little. No interference with my heartstrap, either.Just wore for the Disney Marathon. Great Fit. More room compared to my prior Solomon vest. Super easy to reach pockets and plenty of accessible storage in the front. I added a bladder in the back for longer days.Only gripe I found with it is it’s difficult to find a good way to attach a tube from the bladder so I had to improvise a little, but the two soft flask system on the front works fine.I've been a lifetime user of Ultimate Direction hydration vests and reluctantly made the switch to Salomon, and now I wish I made the switch earlier.I chose a medium size and it fits so well on me (173cm, 165lbs). The draw string on the front is a real difference maker compared to straps that other brands use. It's very stretchy, so you can have the vest nice and tight on you and there's absolutely no restriction on your breathing. Because of this there is no movement from the vest when out running.The design of the soft flasks being long and thin is genius. Even though they are 500ml each, you don't even know they are there as they slot in nice and snug and distribute their weight over a larger area. Such an improvement over bulky flasks that other brands use.Space wise, you have 2 sizeable mesh pockets on the front which are ideal for storing your running fuel and you also have 1 zipped pocket too. The main part of the bag has plenty of room to store spare clothing, additional food and first aid. There's even a thick pocket in there which would be ideal to store your mobile phone/car keys.This running vest is about as perfect as you can get. It's so flexible that you could use it easily for just a short run or even an ultra. Don't hesitate, go get one!I love the vest but sadly had to return it.My main issue was the from zipped pocket. I was intending to store my iphone 11 (kind of large phone) there but the pocket mesh is thin and very large in room so it would be bouncing and bouncing.The vest 8L storage is spot on, and the flasks are good too. Sadly it does not fit my needs.I had a hydration vest which was fine. However during long runs I wanted to be able to carry more food, be able to store layers of clothing etc. this vest allowed plenty of gel’s and cake? in pockets front sides which are easily accessible as I ran. The back not only allowed hydration pouch it I also fitted waterproof jacket and wind jacket in with no problem.Great running pack my only one thing I would change is if it had two zip pockets would be better as I carry phone keys and a spray I have to carry but with them all in one zip pocket they rattle a bit otherwise I would definitely recommend this pack as it’s so comfortable to wear when running I wish I had ordered the 12 though as I carry a lot of stuff and the 8 is a little small for what I needBought this to use for my trail runs. It is really comfortable to wear, easy to adjust and can fit everything in I wanted to take with me. The two supplied soft flasks work really well and are positioned well. I was carrying a spare jacket, first aid kit, phone (which can easily fit in the stretch pockets on the front), hat and food, with plenty space spare for further layers etc.
