These are fantastic rain boots. Among the best you can get anywhere. They're incredibly comfortable, well made from top quality materials, and while they look good (as rain boots go), they're not trying to make a statement (looking at you Hunter and Le Chameau) - they're just really good boots.They run a bit large. It seems like they're made to be worn with very thick socks. If you're in a warmer area, you might want to buy some foodbed inserts. I bought some fairly thin Sorbothane full length ones, and now the boots fit perfectly with normal socks.You don't expect to pay £135 for wellies that don't even make it through their second winter.Not a rip or a tear or a split, just an annoying seep that's enough to wet your toes and make wearing them uncomfortable. Suspect they're just a 'bad pair' that have been poorly manufactured and the vulcanised seams aren't quite right. Last pair of Aigles lasted over 10 years - won't be buying them again - beware if you're tempted, you can buy a lot of cheapo dunlop wellies for £135edit - 3 days on and Amazon excellent customer service has rescued AIgle and replaced them with no quibbles - hats off Amazon, shame on you AigleWow - I tend to avoid buying shoes on t'interweb as it just never works out for me - always too small or too big (I even had odd shoe sizes last year on a pair of trainers). BUT - wow - these boots have been one of my best ever Amazon buys. I love them - so so so comfy. I use them most days for walking the dog, and I also wear them fishing where if have them on for four or five hours, and they are always just brilliantly comfy. Excellent product, and I had them for a good price on here.We are firm lovers of Aigle wellington boots having both previously had them and got 8+ years out of each pair of boots wearing regularly walking dogs, tending to horses etc. The ISO are warmer but they do take more wrestling with to get on and off (due to Neoprene making them hard to pull off) and have an annoying habit of dragging your socks off your feet when wearing them unless you tuck your trousers into your socks which can make it uncomfortable.Ordered these as replacement and they arrived next day. Exceptionally good price and look fine (not yet used). For anyone not sure on what colour Bronze is (they looked black on pictures) - Bronze is a very dark green with brown trim - nice traditional looking boot.I spent quite a long time trying to decide which wellies to go for, I didn't want to go for traditional shiny clod hoppers that were cold heavy yet durable and I didnt want to spend a fortune on a fashion statement that actually didn't have any use whatsoever. Dont get me wrong, these are an expensive purchase in the world of wellies, but boy were they worth it!!Firstly they are so comfy its like wearing a pair of trainers and I've trekked for miles in these without any issues. They are warm and feel like they are lined rather than being plain old rubber. The structure of the boot itself is flexible so it flexes nicely as you walk rather than a rigid boot which can be quite cumbersome.All in all a brilliant boot.I have been a fan of hunters and always worn them, but when my hunters started to fall a part after about ten years I looked at hunters again to only find that they are not built as well as they used to be constructed.I brought a set of Aigle boots before but needed a second pair so I brought these and I am really happy with them.They are so comfortable to wear, it is like walking on soft sponges and I am sure you could go for long walks in these and not suffer any discomfort at all. I wear these for work all day and not had a single problem with at all, they are also comfortable to wear for walks and out and about in town.
